Community and family services

Our programs

Yorkminster Citadel Community and Family Services provide programs to those who find themselves in need including:

  • Foodbank – open Wednesdays open 9:30 am – 1:00 pm. Appointments are required. Email: liz.colley@salvationarmy.ca, phone: 416-222-9110 ext. 2.
  • Children’s Summer Camp Program – limited enrollment.
  • Christmas Assistance Program – registrations are completed during the month of November.
  • Referrals to The Salvation Army Immigration and Refugee Program and other community referrals.
  • English Conversation Café – conducted at various times throughout the year
  • Income Tax Clinic – by appointment, we serve any postal code area.

All programs and services are available to those living in the following postal code areas: M2L, M2P, M3A, M3B, M5M and M4N (north of Lawrence Avenue East).

Documents are required to confirm identification of each family member, income, address, and rent.
