Yorkminster Music Academy
An exciting opportunity to experience the creative rewards of music making.
The Yorkminster Music Academy (YMA) is for children ages 6 to 16 and exists to make quality music development accessible to every child while supporting our mission to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in our community.
Our music educators provide leadership to the following:
- Beginner Brass – for students new to brass instruments and music in general.
- Young People’s Band – for more experienced students.
- Timbrels – a performance art form using a tambourine accompanied by music.
- Singing Company – our children’s choir.
All music groups perform in our Sunday worship service every two or three months.
Registration Fee: $20.00 per child and $10.00 for each additional sibling. Limited enrollment.
Tuesdays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.

Sunday School
Age-appropriate learning (using the orange curriculum) is offered partway through our family worship time on Sunday.
The learning involves play, videos and enthusiastic teachers.
Location: Lower Hall.
